Accessibility Statement

Effective date: July 24, 2026 · Service in Unity, Inc.
Service in Unity, Inc. is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility reflects our values: everyone deserves an equal opportunity to take part.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities, including vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive differences.

What we do

  • Use clear, plain language and a readable layout;
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • Support keyboard navigation and screen readers where possible;
  • Offer sufficient color contrast, including a dark mode option; and
  • Design for use on phones and smaller screens.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time task. We test as we build and fix issues as we find them. Some older content or third-party tools may not yet fully meet our goals, and we are working to improve them.

Third-party content

Parts of our site rely on third-party tools, such as our newsletter and donation services. We do not control how those tools are built, but we choose providers with accessibility in mind and share feedback with them.

Tell us about a problem

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Email info@serviceinunity.org and describe the problem and the page. We will do our best to help and to fix the issue.
